Mandi and Andrew love spending time at the lake, and so it was a natural choice for them to plan a gorgeous lakeside wedding filled with nautical influences in navy and blush to celebrate their love with friends and family.
It was so special getting to know Mandi and Andrew and being treated like one of the family during their rehearsal, and during getting-ready time at their cabins at The Timbers Resort. I have to admit I brushed aside a few tears during Mandi's first look with her dad, and seeing the care she took to gift each parent with custom-embroidered handkerchiefs was a special and unique touch. Mandi and Andrew even gave their guests (and us!) personalized pouches of coffee that they had blended for their wedding favors. What a truly thoughtful couple!
When we arrived at the Shell Knob CCC Park before the ceremony, we found the pavilion transformed into a beautifully draped and decorated open-air reception site. Mandi and Andrew's family and friends had taken care with every detail, and the love they have for this wonderful couple showed in the care that they took to make sure everything was perfect for their special day.
We whisked the bride and groom away for their first look, and then finished up a few family portraits before the ceremony began. The happy couple recited their vows as boats floated by on Tablerock Lake below, creating one of the most stunning views as the sun slowly crept toward the horizon.
Mandi and Andrew danced the night away at their reception, stocking a canoe with plenty of beer for their guests, and offering a delicious bounty of food for their wedding dinner buffet. It made for a fun and casual atmosphere filled with lots of great candid moments.
Thank you Mandi and Andrew for trusting us with your wedding day! It was an honor to be your photographer.
