Millie and Eric are two people who are perfect for one another in every way. Not only are they crazy in love, but they are super cool and love many of the same things, including great music and retro style. When Millie told me that their garden wedding would include lots of classic, vintage vibes, I knew it would be wonderful to photograph!

Although the day before the wedding had been drenched in rainfall, causing some anxiety, the morning of Millie and Eric's wedding couldn't have been brighter and more beautiful. Sunshine filled the day from beginning to end!

We started the day at the Doubletree Hotel for getting ready photos. Millie's gorgeous lace gown was stunning and she looked like a movie star princess out of the 1950s as she walked down the aisle. Eric looked dapper in his suit and handmade boutonniere - created using guitar picks as an homage to his career as a recording studio owner. Carley of Carley Jeanne events did a great job directing the day and making sure every detail was in order for Millie and Eric. It was a picture-perfect ceremony.

Flyover Photography

Music was a huge theme throughout the day, as their handpicked playlist from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 90s set the mood for dinner and dancing at the Diamond Room. Millie and Eric were on the dance floor almost the entire night - and the bride loved cutting a rug in her Chuck Taylors!

After the guests began to depart, we pulled Millie and Eric out for a special nighttime portrait using the lighted sign that Eric's mom had created for the gift table. It's one of my favorite night portraits yet!

Being around Millie and Eric, you can see how completely enamored they are with one another. It's great to see people so deeply in love on their wedding day. It was so much fun to be a part of it all!
