Taylor and Kristy's rustic wedding at the Round Barn was full of so many gorgeous and sweet moments. While the weather at times was a bit stressful, the bride and groom made the best of it. I don't think I've ever met a more easygoing and relaxed couple, especially on their wedding day!
Family and friends pitched in by ironing shirts, decorating, and pinning boutonnieres during formal portraits. Kristy and Taylor's private first look was so emotional to watch - the way they look at one another is truly something special, and it made me cry. I don't know if I'll ever stop doing that when watching couples in love!
Luckily, the rain held off and the ceremony was still able to take place outdoors as Kristy and Taylor had hoped. The ceremony was full of simple and meaningful symbolism, with the traditional exchanging of the wedding bands, followed by a knot-tying ceremony that culminated in a sweet kiss to seal the deal. It was the perfect casual and intimate event for Kristy, Taylor, and their closest loved ones.
From the getting ready portion of the day to the cake cutting and dancing, the day was filled with spontaneous smiles, laughter, and shenanigans. Taylor's nieces and nephews were having so much fun cutting a rug on the dance floor(there was even break-dancing!) It was great to see everyone enjoying the festivities. My favorite moment was the cake cutting. I have never seen such a funny and good-humored cake smash! Taylor and Kristy definitely have what it takes to last through a lifetime of love, and watching their day unfold through my lens was the best experience I've had yet as a photographer.
Thank you so much, Kristy and Taylor - wishing you all the best for your future as husband and wife!
